Hey CC Followers,
Happy Labour day weekend, everyone! Like all good things, Summer must come to an end but we have the long weekend to look forward too, right? Tomorrow is the first day of September, school is starting for students next week and we cannot wait for what is in store this coming Fall! You might have seen the hints in previous blogs, but Blackstone is shortly coming! Come and chat with one of our Condo Culture teammates for more details!
Since we have heard that our past events calendar were useful for some fun ideas to do in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, we decided to make one for September. We didn’t forget the loyal Hammer folks either! Here is what to mark down in your calendars of what is happening in the cities!
Monday September 3rd: Join Hamilton and District Council for the annual day parade and BBQ in Bayfront Park in Hamilton.
Monday September 3rd: Join the Waterloo Regional Labour Council for the annual community picnic in celebration of Labour Day raising money for United Way! This family event includes food, face painting, play area, and live music!
Tuesday September 4th: Head on down to the Descendants Brewery for some craft beer, food and Seinfeld trivia.
Wednesday September 5th: Thursday September 6th: World Rock Symphony Orchestra at The Center in the Square in Downtown Kitchener!
Friday September 7th: Experience #DTK Luna Market. Luna Market is a Kitchener-Waterloo night market that supports local indie designers, eco-friendly living and holistic living. You don’t want to miss this one!
Friday September 7th: Saturday September 8th: Fin De Fiesta Presents - Salvaje. Fin De Fiesta is a professional touring ensemble of award-winning international flamenco artists based in Spain. Guaranteed they will bring Spanish music and dance to the world to Kitchener’s Registry Theatre.
Mark it in your calendar and GO! Make some new memories, meet some new friends or simply learn something new. Take advantage of these awesome outdoor events before Summer is over! We hope everyone has a great Labour Day weekend!
