If there’s one thing we’ve learned from our team, it’s that Kitchener-Waterloo has some of the best dinner and nightlife around, serving great food, standout drinks, and spots worth staying out for. Here’s where you’ll find us when the workday wraps up:
Naheed S. - Sugar Run
"You'll find me at Sugar Run at least once a month. It's moody, it's dark, the music is good, and the cocktails are delicious. The menu rotates regularly but the bartenders can probably whip up any cocktail you know — and a bunch you've never even dreamed of."
Mariah B. - 1858 Caesar Bar
"If you’re looking for a new KW patio spot, 1858 Caesar Bar in Uptown Waterloo is a gem. It’s one of the only patios that actually gets late afternoon/evening sun, and it’s pet-friendly! They have 45 Caesars to choose from, which is wild. But if you’re indecisive like me, you can order a customizable Caesar flight and try four! Even better, they have a happy hour every day with half-price apps that are super delicious."

"A true hidden gem with unassuming signage hidden away on the second floor. Serving, in my opinion, the best Latin American food in the city. Everything from staples like tacos and fajitas to tamales and enchiladas. But I highly suggest getting a variety of pupusas. Top notch frozen cocktails make for a great summer date night!"

“The best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand. The Pad Thai and Thai Peanut are so authentic, you’ll want to be careful with the spice; mild or medium is more than enough for most. This wonderful family-run spot has kept my family coming back time after time, even after we moved away.”
